I had to reply

Hello, I don't get around here much but I am an advid follower soon to be owner one day. While googleing and this thread popped up and I had to chime in... If you really want to know what is going on in the GTR world you should hang out on the nagtroc there are a ton of people with nothing but money to burn building these cars currently chasing 1000 awhp! Here is an example of what I mean:

Broke people like myself live through these guys lol!

As far as working on the car I have a z32tt and I know what you mean but it is no harder than working on the z32tt. These guys have no fear and they are tearing apart this car to no end!

Hell yes!

The GTR is what the S30 was in 1970. When I first saw it I new I had to have one and in 1973 I bought a "71. Make no mistake, I will have a GTR in my lifetime.

The GTR is nowhere near what the s30 was, unless they dumped $35k off the price.

In those days you could buy a new Ferrari for 25k. A Corvette was about 5k. I paid $2400 for my 2 year old Z. Those days are gone but relatively the GTR is not that far out of reach.

I see a lot of z32s and 350zs, have seen one other z31 and a 240z around Champaign County, but haven't seen a GT-R or 370z around here.

Video of an 8 sec GTR... Pretty funny launch faces towards the end... and the trees get small quick...
