what would some of you pay for the z31 i built?
the inceranc company is going to try to put a price tag on my z this week.
and im sure it is not going to be what its worth so i am asking thish Q.

It matters not what any of us might have been willing to pay for that car. The insurance adjuster is going to try to give you low wholesale Kelly Blue Book price for it. He'll probably get away with it, too.

Got receipts and lots of pictures? Take them with you to the meeting. That might help a little.

I know what you're facing. I'm dropping more than $10k in a $2k z31. I'll never get the true "value" back from an insurance adjuster if something happens to it. To make matters worse, all it'll take is a fender bender to total loss it.

Well...With a real nice paint job knock off the spoiler (i wasnt a real big fan of the paint job or spoiler) 7 G's would be a fair price i think.

The insurance won't come in close to $7k. I bet they're in the ballpark of $2k. If the insurance company didn't know about the mods, then they won't pay for them. Your insurance is premiuims are based on what the car is worth based on the VIN#. Unless you told your insurance company about the mods, you're likely out of luck. Sorry.

i see what you are all saying but it is not my iceranc that is doing the estamits. it is the inc. from the kid who hit me while he was driving drunk. they called me to day and are sending out a custem car apraser,they specilaz in hot agust night cars. so we will have to wait and see what its worth.i also found out today,that in the stat of nevada the laws reads if you have a custem car and it is totaled with in 6 mounths you are intitaled to full value of the car. anything after 6 mounths it loses its value.my car was registerd in feb. of this year, so im under the 6 mounths.
