lol wish i had a clean room to build my engines in

hoov100 07-31-2009 02:38 PM

lol, i feel sorry for anyone who has to change/pay to change the plugs on that motor. and i thought pulling the plenum to change the injectors was bad enough. poor bastards...

skib 07-31-2009 02:42 PM

lol but then again.... if you can afford to drive an R35 you can afford to pay someone to change them for you

lol 90k msrp, then add another 20k ontop of that for dealer markup.

Dealers in Washington are selling for MSRP or less now.
They are even offering the 370Z for MSRP

hoov100 07-31-2009 11:28 PM

wow, the dealers here have been selling them for around $5-10K over and people have been emptying there inventorys, these things are everywhere in palm desert!!!

SportBikeMike 08-01-2009 08:32 AM

Freakin Illinois! I've yet to see a GT-R on the road. I've yet to see a 370Z on the road. I haven't seen an S30 (besides mine) in over a year. This place is like the black hole for Nissans/ Zs.....:103:

Its a truly sad place for a Z enthusiast to live. I did see a '76 280Z 2+2 for sale on Ebay just 50 miles from here.....I was going to go look at it but I'm broke (depleted my savings paying off the Duc....).

I was actually in the middle of test driving an Mitsubishi Evo X when i rolled up next to one on the freeway. Just for fun, i decided to stick the needle a few times. Anyway he was way to busy to drive the car, as he was preoccupied with the phone up his arse. I was bummed, the car sales man was having a kinipshit fit, anyway.. it was a beautiful car none the less and it looked like it rode very nice, didn't hear a thing from it engine/exhaust wise. Immaculate..

FubarI33t 09-02-2009 03:06 AM

i could only dream of that gear box in my old S130.

RodMoyes 09-03-2009 04:52 PM

I don't know about the rest of them, but mine was built in a secret Ninja hide-out by skilled ninja and samurai warriors.

ZXY300 09-16-2009 05:04 AM

I thought they were all robot built, interesting to see that many haps on it, id be suprised if thats the full scale production line.

Sexy car

I love this pic. Those brakes completely dwarf that guy.

And yes, every single GT-R is (mostly) hand built.

MikeB7283 06-11-2010 10:44 PM

I've seen quite a few in IL

hoov100 06-15-2010 01:57 PM

Looking on it now, the GTR is kinda fallowing the path of the z32. It's a technological marvel that gives you great bang for the buck, is a complete PITA to work on and unless you know how to work on it, you will just make the repairs more expensive.

Not in Springfield. I've yet to see a GT-R in person....:022:

snwbrderphat540 06-16-2010 05:08 PM

mike, that's exactly why, you live in springfield. anything outside a 30 mile radius of chicago is a considered quite a bit lower income area. theres 4 GTR's in a 5 mile radius around my house alone lol. and a couple 370Z's. you need to come up to the nicer burbs or the city itself (not the southside) to see lots of the new nissans and many many other nice cars. once on the highway right by my house a saw a supperlegra and lp-640 and a ZR1 cruising together. couple differnt lotus', hell 2 towns over all on one street is a lambo dealership that also does lotus, a ferrari dealership, audi, mercedes (lots of AMG's) and a porsche (carrera GT and SOOOOOO many GT3RS's). and a nissan with 1 GTR haha. lots of stuff up this way.

SportBikeMike 06-16-2010 05:16 PM

I know it sucks down here. Believe it or not, Springpatch does actually have a Porsche dealership, they used to occasionally sell Ferraris and Lambos out of there. There used to be a blue Gallardo around town but haven't seen it lately. There is a Mosler in town I see occasionally....that thing is insane. Actually saw a Jaguar E-type the other day too. But otherwise, exotic cars are pretty rare......:022:

snwbrderphat540 06-16-2010 05:20 PM

lol bummer.... move more north. haha.
