what we did was an IATC (intake air timing censor) mod. this is a lot of noticable horse power. they say around 20 at the crank, that is a worst lie than when bill clinton took the stand. it adds maybe 8-9 hp at the crank. but stil, that is VERY noticable. heres a little nifty fact, if you install it backwards, you timing belt breaks!. so make sure you have a mecanic install it. other wise, well, its selfexplainitory. you can find these on Ebay, just type in "300zx intake", and about 200 or so should come up. peace

I also have an na, so I'm in the same boat. Simple tune-up stuff works best like that which you've already done plus don't forget the fuel filter and the pcv valves! Make sure your belts are in ok condition. Have your alternator checked if its oem, they have a tendency of dying on ya. Also a good idea to have spare fusible links especially that 45amp blue wire one. When that blows nothing in your car responds electrically!! I had fun figureing that one out. Good Luck.

Along with everything else...
Use premium oils like:
Royal purple - Max Gear (*Excellent stuff!)
Redline
Amsoil
and also: Water Wetter (Redline)

Did somone say FANS? NO the other kind. The electric type will give you a few extra also a lightened crank pullythat will be noticable change! You Can adjust the timing a little, the old school way was to move the timing belt a notch or to but cam gear pullys are a better way to go. Better air intake pipes with ceramic coating to keep the radiant heat from heating up the air before it goes in the motor. You can get a chio for your ecu. The list goes on and on. The problem is, once you get to a certain point the hp get more costly to make. Hope that helps you guys!
