tt injectors in an na

ok so i have one injector that has gone bad, reading 2 ohms which i havent really heard of them reading low ohms. i can get a set of tt injectors from a friend for a little more than what one injector will cost, what i need to know is if the na computer can/will compensate for the bigger injectors and not spray way too much fuel or will they spray entirely too much?

You would need to get an ECU program for 370cc/min injectors. JWT, Ash, or ZTuner could make such a program.

But your ECU absolutely cannot compensate for larger injectors by itself.

There's a slight understatement. If it'll run, it'll run terrible. Rich doesn't begin to describe it.

Yeah, about an extra 43% fuel flow... that'll run just a tad rich. [/understatement]

maybe (i'm not too sure), but maybe that's why i said "i can't say how much", because i didn't know for sure how much, but i wanted to answer to the best of my ability.

just add enough compressed air to compensate for the extra fuel and you should be alright, i heard that nissan made a turbo model of the 300zx, but i think its just a rumor. i think the junkyard is in your future for getting a set of injectors and have them cleaned and serviced.

That's an awesome solution! Why didn't I think of that? Put on turbos that introduce just enough extra air to compensate for the extra fuel! Brilliant!

Here's a novel thought....why don't you just answer questions when you actually know the answers. Clearly the best of your ability in this case allows you to park in a handicapped space.

He was right about the important part (that it'll spray too much) just not the result (that it likely wouldn't run).

no, putting more air into the cylinder will burn the extra fuel.
