Ok, the problem as of now.......
I taled to Nissan this morning. They said that my spark plugs were all fouled out with gasoline. The car is getting both fuel and spark, but the fuel is being dumped into the spark plug area. They took them out to let the cylinders dry out, and the plugs dry off and they are gonna go and fire it up today. They couldnt tell me what the problem was, can the Rizz handle this??
They dont have any Z techs there which i think is ridiculous. But the only place around here like that charges around $200 an hour.

One thing that it could be is that the fuel hoses that go right over your spark plugs cuold be leaking. There's a hose that goes from the fuel dampener to the fuel rail that sits right over a spark pulg and often leaks. either that, or your injectors are leaking. Your injectors sit relatively close to the spark plugs and a little squirt or two could get some fuel over there.

5 days and $307 later. It turns out the engine was flooded. Because it had a rough start and it had who knows how many attempts to be started, the spark plugs were fouled out and the cylinders were filled with gas. Nissan pulled out hte plugs let them dry off, let the cylinders dry out, replaced the plugs and it started right up.

Yea emo...
Dude what lines are you talking about? I have my entire engine torn down at the moment... The only fuel lines I see snake around back, and next to the lower plenum... Exlpain because I have the same problem as Dom there. Peace

I think he's talking about the fuel line that runs from the fuel piping to the fuel pressure regulator (near #3 cylinder). Follow the fuel line from the filter. Where it runs across the top of the engine, there are 2 fuel lines that run into the fuel piping. 1 goes all the way across the top of the engine. The other, which I think is what he's talking about, runs under the plenum cover and into the pressure regulator. Check the hoses running into and out of the pressure regulator. I've had those leak on me. You'll need to take off the plenum cover to do this. Here's a link to a diagram that will give you a better idea of what I'm talking about.

Those are exactly the lines that I'm talking about. Also the lines that run into the fuel dampener. I had a line that connected to the fuel pressure regulator leaking and it was dripping right into the injector connector area, I could see how It could spray over to the spark plug area. But it could be that your engine was flooded like doms. I didn't know that an engine could flood THAT bad.

I didnt know that either. But they didnt have a Z Tech working on the car they had your basic mechanic doing it. So who knows how many times it was cranked. But if happens again its going back to Nissan and Im gonna find out where they all live and **** in their cereal.
