So I was driving yesterday and I floored it and all of a sudden the RPMs almost like jumped up and down and the car almost like sputtered. I've noticed this throughout the day if I was heavy on the gas. Normal driving when only hitting about 3-5 pounds of boost it seems to be fine. Also it will sometimes idle right at 1. Any ideas? This is really bugging me :/

 

You mean it kind of cuts out for a second and then the power is there?

 

yeah, itll do that. I boost leak tested it recently and found one so i gotta get that fixed and see if that helps. Now i noticed the RPM jumping up and down seems like it has to deal with the tranny, diff or something like that. Would any of that stuff effect the RPMs though? idk maybe im sketching, maybe it all boils down to the boost leak.
