Need Help! Urgent!

Hey everyone... i got a problem. today when i woke up i went down to the garage to find the floor covered in coolant. that means only one thing...there is a coolant leak somewhere so i fill the radiator up, start the car, and it starts pretty much pouring out. i located where it was coming from, and i think it's coming from the timing belt cover....my first guess would be water pump. i took the driving belts off and i was about to take the timing belt cover off too but i tried spinning the water pump and it seemed fine... i've used some stop leak junk in the radiator, and it seems to work a little bit. any suggestions? it's driving me crazy because i am supposed to start my new job tomorrow, and now i am going to have to find another ride to work. any suggestions would be helpful, and also has this happen to anyone else? thanx a lot guys

Maybe the radiator hoses are cracked, arnt they above the timing belt. The upper hose on my car is prety bad and my car only has like 70k on it, im changing it soon bcuae its starting to puff.

unless it's the water pump seal. The upper part might have blown out. Why not temporarily remove the cover and pinpoint the leak?

yup that what i am going to do now. i just removed the cover, have a brand new water pump (just in case). i will keep you guys updated....as far as the upper hoses, they are brand new, so i am thinking it's the water pump seal, since the water pump seems to spin freely, and it's not leaking through that little hole or whatever... i'll keep you guys updated. i am excited, i just got a whole bunch of tools, and an air compressor...next up....welder

Water pump. Mine did the same thing. I'd fill it up in the morning and it would leak right out. If you're changing the water pump, change the timing belt and everything else we've discussed you're supposed to change when changing the t-belt and the water pump. Have fun.

BTW, that stop leak stuff is crap. It's designed to fill holes in the cooling system; which it does, but in doing so, it reduces the flow of coolant through the engine. You'll want to flush the cooling system when you have it appart.
