Hi all
Need your inputs and sorry for the short time frame.
I have a line in on two strut braces, front and rear for $100 shipped out to me. Brand new. I dont know the prices of other manufacturers and dont know what sort of quality I am looking at with these ones. Is this a good deal and Should I buy?

As long as they are a direct fit for your Z, it sounds like a really good deal. I'd go for it. Rod.

well it could be a good deal if they are used aftermarket braces in good shape.

If this guy took some steel bars and welded them together, is it worth $50 each to you?

As long as they fit then you really cant lose. Unless they're made of rubber. Then you probably dont want to go that route

thanks for the input boyz. As far as I know the braces will fit fine and the front one is supposed to fit without mods to the hood or engine bay area.

My triangular brace was overpriced! $199 I believe.

It has a home-made look to it. Not very clean welds.... oh, and it didn't even fit! I had to have it cut and re-welded. The company that I got it from basically just gave me the cold shoulder... they didnt' care that it didn't fit. They primarily sell S30 and 510 parts... who cares about a 280zx owner's complaint

Yeah... I've seen that one. I figured I'd just make my own & save a couple hundred dollars.
