help! lotsa water in the air ducts...
Not sure what happened, but today after I washed my car, there seems to be a whole lot of water sloshing around in the air ducts behind the glove box. I can only hear it when making a left turn, or when going up a steep hill. It sounds as if the blower fan blades are hitting the water, and then it starts pouring out of the air outlet above the ECU/HICAS computer area. Any ideas on how to drain the water? good thing I got a set of those costco rubber floormats that catch rain/mud. while driving around town, I had to take the mat out and pour out the water like three times. Also, does anyone know how/where the water got in? thanks--

RE: water in the ducts
My '90 Z had the same problem My A/C drain was clogged and it had a half quart of water in the A/C compartment air box. Look under the A/C box and pull the rubber hose off. It will be hard to get to but you can do it. Stick a piece of wire or small tubing into the drain and wiggle it around.
Have a large towel under the unit because you are gonna have a small flood when the drain clears out. Finally, blow out the drain hose and you should be good to go.
