Water in the car

So when I went to the red rock canyon cruise, I found a whole bunch of water all over my passenger floor. Well i dried it all out over 2 days and such but was still wondering where it came from. So last night I washed the car and when i feel the passenger, theres water there again. So now I have to track down this leak. Question, considering im over my 36mo/36K limited warranty, how much would this cost if the weather stripping has to be redone. I'm thinking about taking the car to the dealership next week because im out of town and cant drive it anyways. I want to have the whine in the transmission looked at because It is very annoying. Has anyone had problems with their weather stripping or and water leaks in the car?

No leaks here. Have you ever had any of your glass replaced?

I ahve never had any glass palced replaced, but I did buy the car used. I dont believe the previous owner did either though. Its just really crappy because the car started to smell moldy and i had to do a really good carpet cleaning. I cant have this happen every single time it rains outside.

It's possible it is a leak from your window or door seals. But I think you have a leaking heater core. Check to see if your losing coolant from the radiator,or feel the liquid to see if it has a slimey feel to it or antifreeze smell.

nope its definately water. With the amount of liquid that was in the car. I would have definately smelt coolant. All the water was dry while I was driving it around yesterday, but when I washed the car the water returned

That kinda sounds like one of the rubber wiring grommets is open. Did you pull in any wire for an amplifier or anything?

+ 1, remove your battery cover and the plastic plate under your wiper behind the battery cover. In corner by the edge of you fender and passenger door will be the wiring grommit. Get this fixed asap....your ecu will get all wet.
