you paid $8k for a half *** '90?? thats what i paid for my pristine '95 slicky.

 

i paid 4000. but then put that much into it again because there was no other option when it broke down.

 

LOL i went through the same process i got my 91 z with a lil over 100k miles but engine was really bad cond, but driveable. I spent 3000 on the swap and the engine both. All together my z's got 28k on the engine and iv spent about 12,000 on it but 3000 of it was for the volk gt-s's. Now im going with new turbos. Whatever you do get a new wiring harness if you do a swap.

 

But im still deciding between 600r or 525. Im thinking the 525's cause that plenty of power to me. If i hit 500hp thats still got every car from where im from beat.

 

So any more suggextions between the 525 or the 600. Iv narrowed it down to that. Also remember im just wanting to max at 500 hp, but ofcourse im getting upgraded ecu downpipes intercooler exhaust and injectors.

 

i was cruising twinturb.net today in their classified section. and they have up for sale the td04 kit, 525 kit, and i think even a 600 kit, all lightly or not used for right around 1k. you should check it out.
