Upgraded turbos
Not yet but I have been studying on it. The HKS GT2530 seems pretty good. Ball bearing, decent power and not too much lag. I also thought about the sport 530s but they are about $1500 more than the 500s without much power increase.
No, I was just browsing. I would only do that if my stock ones gave up. I wouldn't go too big. I'd probably go with the sport 500's. I prefer to stay with the stock internals. I think that the 600's would push it a bit too much. The 530BB's require the 5-bolt down pipe, but the 500's, 550's and 600's all use the 4 bolt downpipe. The kits that Z1 sells are very affordable,...comparatively speaking.
Usually the HKS GT2530's are the best to go with, they are ball bearing, much more relyable, spull up faster, and last much longer. Even though you will have to do some extra work and need some extra parts, but it's REALLY worth it. My friend has some HKS's on her Z32 with the GReddy Exhaust and it's wicked as hell, check it out on my cardomain sight (im buying the rims SSR Evolutions). Z1 is a good company but I have heard some bad things when people order things from them.

Not to get off the subject or anything but did you get to go to the JGTC races?

In my honest opinion Z1Motorsports.com is the place to go for upgrading turbos...they might not be a big name manufacturer, but they're just as high of quality, and from doing a little homework on this matter myself, i've found that while the Z1 upgraded turbos are slightly cheaper than the JWT's for example...the Z1's also produce slightly more power...and Z1 also recommends what you should or shouldnt do in upgrading, and provides dyno sheets from their project cars for each set of turbos...i dont know, i've had nothing but good experiences with Z1 so far so of course i'd stick up for 'em...but i've also never met anybody else that's had a bad experience with them...Z14L DaWg

The 2530's are great turbos if you are looking for a lot of power, but if u want to be stage 3-5/320-430WHP then smaller faster spooling turbos would be better...
