Boost Controllers

Looking at buying a boost controller. Anyone have any favorites? What about performance comparisons? Anyone better than the rest?

Greddy Profec B II is supposed to be one of the easiest to use. That's what I bought but havn't installed it yet. Has anyone installed their own here? Is it fairly simple?

Same as ^^^. I've purchased the Greddy Profec B Spec II, but haven't installed it yet. I've read about the installs. It doesn't appear to be particularly hard....just time consuming. I haven't decided how i'm going to mount it yet. That will probably proove to be the most difficult task.

I was thinking about BC in the clock location and putting my turbo timer in the glove box.

Mounting in the clock location would be cool. I haven't received it yet, so I don't know ow big it is. I ordered it from Z1 2 weeks ago with the ASHSPEC and DOOLZ?? I talked to someoene at Z1 yesterday to find out what's going on. They haven't carged my credit card yet either. The guy said he'd get back to me, but I'm still waiting. :ranton:

I saw a Z32 with the boost controller mounted on the dash..but it was custom fitted into fiberglass and followed the lines of the gauge pod so it looked like a one piece unit, it was snazzy.

So the Greddy is the only one you guys have thought about. Or just cause Z1 recommended. I was leaning toward that one too.

Thanks Rizz, I already checked out that link though :burnout: They don't have the actual results though, like the graphs. By the way, whenever I have a question, I usually look at whatever info I can find on your link page first.

Sounds like i to have jumped on the bandwagon. I have a Profec B spec 2 which i installed and mounted just under my CD player. installation wasn't bad. my turbo timer is mounted on the bottom side of the steering colum out of sight. im just not into all sorts of crazy gauges and electronics...just the ones i need.
