91tt fails emission test
91tt fails emission test. It fail at Idle " hc ppm " to high and "CO" to high.
2500 rpm is fine. I replaced Plugs, air filter, pcv val, changed oil. Car appears to run fine, I took it on a long drive before testing to make sure it was warm. I've only had the car for a few months. In Colorado Springs you need to have a emission test before you can get tags. Not sure what to check next .
Thanks Marvin

Read this.
High HC's and high CO is a sign of a rich condition; which is too much fuel. I had/have the opposite problem. What kind of plugs did you use? Could be O2 sensors or catalytic converters. What mods do you have? Has the ECU thrown and codes? Do resistance tests on your coil packs and injectors too to make sure they're all operating correctly. Try cleaning your throttle bodies as well.

Check your timing too. 13-17 degrees BTDC. Car should have more power at 17.
I can't remember if it says in the link I directed you too, but you could run 87 octane through it; which should improve your test results. The car won't run very well and you won't want to drive it hard until all of the 87 is burned out of the tank, but it may be worth a shot if nothing else works.
