Failed Emission Test

Re: Failed Emission Test
Replace your fuel pressure regulator. Put in new spark plugs. Be sure your vaccume advance in the distributor is working properly. You should be able to turn the rotor a little bit counterclockwise with your hand. When you release it, the rotor should snap back smoothly to its original position. Check the vacume lines from the distributor.
Also, try using some fuel injector cleaner. You can even get out some WD-40 and a toothbrush and clean the internal an external contacts of your throttle position swtich. It is the black box on the side of your throttle body.

Re: Failed Emission Test
You might want to replace your O2 sensor and PCV valve. When I had my emissions test done in May, I cut my emissions in half from the last time I had it tested. How's the cat look? Can you see light on the other side if you look through it? If not it might be clogged. Good luck.
