I am a new member to zdriver, and i have a question. i am thinging about buying a '90 TT but it is a/t and i want a m/t and was wondering how complicated a transmission change would be...does anyone know if this is even possible and what would be included in this process. Does anyone know any other problems witha '90 TT and if a trans swap would effect the cars performance.

My car was an automatic then switched to a manual. I found this out when I went to order parts for it one day. I did not do this but the owner prior to me may have. Though if you are going to do it have a shop do it for you. It does not affect performance.
