z32 fuel pump question

z32 fuel pump question

1993 z32 n/a

i have a little over 103 thousand mi on the car. should i worry about replacing my fuel pump now or do they usually last a while longer? it's a little noisey but i don't know if that's normal. just want to be proactive so i don't get her stuck on the freeway or something. thanks guys.

you should be good, just dont run her low on fuel, thats what kills pumps.

if you run her below an 1/8'th of a tank the pump will be completely exposed and wlll get very hot.

^ +1. The fuel pump is liquid cooled. And don't replace it until it dies.
