Where's my pressure sending unit?!

I've got a crazy high oil pressure reading so I changed my oil and filter but still no change. So I went to change my sending unit but it seems to be completely missing. Are they in a different spot on the JDM models? Please help!

Thanks but that's the problem, the sending unit's not at all in that spot. As far as I can tell there isn't even the proper connection for it, mechanical or electrical.

That's pretty specific...

On the drivers side, behind the motor mount.

ok, behind the driver motor mount.. its what hold the motor to the chassis...behind there, you should see a big bulky sensor that screws in..

wait a minute.. is this Right hand drive????? WTF??? ok then... behind passanger side motor mount... (which would be Driver in US models)

Ok so I feel like an idiot but are you saying it isn't where it "normally" goes (near the filter)? So is it kind of in the same area but just on the left side? I don't know what a motor mount looks like or where it is but I'll keep an eye out. Thanks for the help so far.

I found it! Thanks for the help. It turns out that (at least part of) the problem is the connector for the OPSU is missing a wire and female insert completely. I guess I'll have to dig around to trace back the missing wire and replace the connector.

The sensor has 2 connections, but it only uses 1 wire/connection.

So is it supposed to look like this? Looks pretty lacking to me.
I put in a new sending unit anyway, seems to work! Thanks.
