Stupid exhaust question

Will removing the Axle-back section of the stock system produce a good result besides being louder?

i always found the NA's to be kinda raspy in stock form without a resonator..

well The resonators would still be there from what I can see... only the mufflers and tips are on the axle back part, right?
The resonators are near the cats right? which are on the pipe you leave alone.

You want to do this because you think it will be cool, or you really want to know if there will be less back pressure / positive benefit from it?

why i want to know

the reason why I am wondering is because I've done it before. It sounds BADASS, above 3000RPM that is, otherwise it is raspy...
I put it back on in fear of attracting Po-Po attention, but I am going to the drags thurs. night. This mighte be my last one in my Z

And a kid I know wants to race me. Sooo I figured I mighte as well go all out.
He has a EG body civic with a Prelude H22 swap, headers, intake, exhasut, and that ****. I really think I am going to loose especially because it only weighs like 2100 lbs.
Yep.

Yeah, I think that because there will still be a cat and resonator to keep realtively decent backpressure. But I am not sure that's where you fellers come in

cut-outs hmm...
Do you mean the ones that intersect the midpipes after the headers?
I haven't really seen any for our cars. But I guess that's why the word MODIFICATION exists huh?

Oh, they(Civics) are putting the spank down
This old guy that owns a car audio place has a civic running high tens(fat turbonetics set-up). The only persons he drags against is this viper GTS with a 150shot. It's insane to see those ricers fly by everyone. But mostly the people running fast civics are drug dealers around here, no joke. All they do is sell meth and weedon week, and a week later they got a fully prepped B20 and the like.

AMZ makes cutouts for the z32. they even have a setup with motorized valves, so you can open the cutouts with a switch in the cabin. assuming they ever get their site back up.......

B20's are crap, tell them they are retards and should used the K series. and if they run 10's they arent rice. lol. they are little pocket rockets that **** you off. and you in your NA will never be able to beat that 10 sec. civic if it really is a 10 car

its really simple. any cutouts will work with any exhaust basically. you just need to find a motorized cutout, and an appropriately sized adapter pipe for your current exhaust.

check out the QTP and DMH cutouts. dmhs website isnt working...

Thanks guys

NOT to make this a thread on hondas but...

B20's are more about the rev'n(and obviously) the nostalgia and the fact that you are able to interchange other B series parts(type-r USDM). Creating a all honduh, all motor 210 or so hp, so no they aren't retards. Not everyone has money spend on a K20A2(type-s) or the K24, and then slap on a turbo/supercharger.
