Seemed staged and exaggerated for the camera. Pretty crazy though.

You gotta love how the other drivers on the road just remained calm and didnt try to get out of the way or anything. If you try something like that here in Cali someones going to cut you off or run you off the road

If I'm not mistaken I believe this is footage based around/used for development or comercials or something relating to the video game Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero for PS2 on. It looks way too close to the game to be a coincidence in my opinion, even down to the roads and pedestrian traffic.

*shrug*

Just the observations of a long term gamer with a sports car

you know, i was thinking that myself. that footage had a little too much of a professional look to it to have been just a street race. that was a good game btw.

Yeah all that stuff looked staged to me, theres no way that was your "Average street race" I can't remember but did any of the other cars even honk at them when they were cutting them off, ect?

Now I remember where I saw this...now of those Asian videos (like Hong Kong or somewhere along those lines) on DVD that gets sold on ebay all the time. I have one of a 280ZX doing the same thing. It not racing anybody, but doing a time trial vs. a R31 Skyline.

welcome to a year ago... I've had this video for like forever. Anyways, it's not a real street race. First of all, what street racers have 4+ different cameras to make videos of this quality with... Second the driving is way to precise and coordinated... Third, if you watch closely, in some scenes you can see a bike following them (my friends and I speculate this is one of the camera men). Completely for a movie or something....

Nothing like unecessary weaving, plus...... a camera in the front? what street racer will have a car ahead filming the race?
