loud cabin from exhaust?? need advice
Does everyone experience the loud cabin bass from the dual exhaust. Will dynamat work? I don't want to put silencers, so i can leave the exhaust freeflow. Any advice???????
Shelby has a modified (read: louder than stock) exhaust on her car and it has a very pleasing sound that I never tire of while running through the RPM range, the only time it gets annoying is when you're in too low of a gear accelerating in which case you just shift, the bogging is the only time its obnoxiously loud. From my experience the Z32 is very well insulated aurally speaking.

S30's have some killer sound isulation
and for a few days im gonna have me an open down pipe right of the turbo, now i just got reverse my fuel pump lines so it sucks fuel instead of blowing air into the gas tank
lol embarrasing.... then i can talk about loud myself when she fires up, assuming i didnt jew up the timing to much, im sure its off a couple degrees.

yup
Turbos make the noise much more tolerable, you will probably notice that with the windows down or the T-tops off the noise is a lot less. So, that's two more economical (weather permitting) options. Sound deadening foam works pretty good as does Dynamatt. Ear plugs? turn up sterio, dare I say ask your girlfriend/wife to keep talking?
