wus good yall. finally after about 2 years i got my 300zx started again. happy as hell made me almost slap my girl...but anyway, on the down side, it sounds like theres a tick on the top of the engine. i mad shook(scared) about the tick, cause thas the same sound it had when my last engin blew. don't know wat to do. are the lifters sticking, valves messed up? should i drain the oil again...i don't kno

 

well, if the car hasn't ran in two years, give it some time for the oil to flow.
i'm hoping that you're using new oil and there shouldn't be any need to change it again.

 

was your engine rebuilt, or did you put a JDM one in?

 

its was a used engine from ultimate Z. the head mechanic at the nissan dealership where my car is parked told me to put some 1/2 qt of automatic transmision fluid n the gas tank and to get some rislone n the oil. sounded crazy to me but thas wat he said. hopefully i get to do it today.
