That's an overkill.

Try Redline oil instead of Mobil 1.

Haha, I don't know where you guys have heard to change it that often... Basic maintenance says every 60-80k or so. Doesn't need to be done often at all, changing it with every other oil change is a waste of money. And why would you change your spark plugs every 6,000 miles? Right on the car it says platinum tipped should be changed every 60k, a simple check every now and then should be fine.

That's crazy but hey, personal preferance is personal preferance.

Myself I use platinums, change em every 70k or so and change my synthetic oil every 7500 or so. Depends on color of oil and engine performance really. If I start to hear more noise from the engine bay than normal I'll change it earlier.

Considering that would be like changing my tires every 20,000 miles whether they were bald or not and just as cost effective. Nope, I like money.

Southern California. We've got this stuff called pavement and concrete, usually it's nice and smooth. Plus my wife won't let me go to the track.....I'm abused.

I can usually get around 55,000 miles out of my tires if I rotate them regularly and keep the PSI in check. Not running over screws helps too....picked up my 3rd one last month, same damn tire too.

I'm pulling so much camber in the rear that I get 15K IF I drive normal. when I go to track events. well my gas mileage and tire wear is horrible. I really need to get a fender roller to get my camber back to spec.

lol if I don;t drive my car like I stole it every day I get pretty decent gas milage. (26mpg) when i hit full boost oh my goodness. (last time I filled up, hit a few full WOT Runs and filled up on the next gas station) I calculated 8MPG at full boost. needless to say I don't drive her liek I stole her. + I have an accord for a daily. but that gets just a little better gas milage (31) but it has cool features like AC and a Heater. lol
