Hello from new (read: nOOb) 300ZXTT (commemorative edition) owner
Hi all!
First of all, very impressed with this site, seems like a great place to fraternize and also obtain useful information RE: our expensive toys. Thanks in advance for all the advice and tips I'm sure I will owe to this forum!!
I recently (this afternoon) purchased a 1996 300ZXTT Black on Tan (89k original miles) which has been hitherto maintained by a kindly old gentleman. His wife is putting the cap on 7 cars, and so this one had to go after he bought them a MB SL500. Tough life, right?
But in all seriousness, I am obviously nothing short of overjoyed to be the proud owner of this (almost entirely) original commemorative edition, complete with plaque, etc.
I have attached some photos, from all I can gather, the car seems to have been babied. Full disclosure, I work in car sales, but am far from a gearhead, and am quite ignorant when it comes to mechanical elements of cars, and 300ZXs in general. Before I saw this one come across our (primarily consignment based) lot, I was not even in the market for a second car.
Please provide any knowledge you find it useful for a nOOb like myself to know
and otherwise, I look forward to chatting more with you all later as the adventure continues!
