Hi I have a 1990 non turbo 300zx automatic. I dont have a owners manual so I need some help. There is a little orange light that flashes on the lower left corner of the dash by the o/d light what is it and why does it flash any help would be great thanks.

Thanks it looks like its a light for my transmission.

Sounds like you managed to trip the Tranny override. Does the car drive normally or is it locked into 3rd gear?

It shifts fine the light only comes on when I first start the car and it flashes 16 times I dont know if this is normal.
