Ever heard of IvegotZparts?

Have any of you guys heard or dealt with this guy? ihavezparts.com

I'm asking cuz I bought a "set of Factory Chrome Z32 Rims" from him over 40 days ago and I just got them today. Ok... so shipping sucks sometimes. BUT, they were sent to me VERY dirty... and had they cleaned them before they sent them, (as promised in our email correspondence) they would have noticed that 2 of them were chrome and the other 2 were alloy. Plus the two alloy ones had 215/60R16's and the others were 225/50R16's. The two that ARE chrome are peeling and pitted so badly that I can't even put them on my Z. OHHH AND, all 4 tires are different... that was also talked about before shippment.

I am just SO pissed right now. I'm waiting to hear back from Duane...(the guy running the show). I'm really hoping he takes care of this situation. But either way, I have to find new wheels. I really like the factory Chrome wheels... but at this point I think I'm going to start looking for a set of 17" chromes with a nice lip.

Ok I just had to vent. So has anyone had dealing with this company before?

I'll let you know how they handle this. Later, All.

Yeah, they're heavy, but they look so nice with the AH3 paint. I'm usually not a fan of the tacky chrome but with my set-up ('93 vert in the Cherry Red Pearl) It just looks so nice.

So no ones heard of IHAVEZPARTS?

I have a set of chrome *wheels* in storage (yes, the entire wheel, not just the rim)... they were going to be installed for summer but then I picked up that 17's. And chrome Z32 wheels are not ghetto, look up DrDCanaceu's Z on tt.net.

And I've never heard of that site... probably should stick with the reputable vendors and private sellers when it comes to reasonably expensive items.

Don't worry... I hate myself for even thinking it. I can't believe I actually typed it. WOW...

WHEELS....WHEELS...WHEELS....WHEELS...WHEELS....WH EELS...WHEELS....WHEELS...WHEELS....WHEELS...WHEEL S....WHEELS...WHEELS....WHEELS...WHEELS....WHEELS. ..WHEELS....WHEELS... not rims.

Ok, maybe now I'll get it.

We're you hinting that just maybe you were thinking about selling them?

If this guy actually gives me my money back without too much of a fight, I might be kinda intersted... If you were thinking about getting rid of them... PM me with details and a price. I would really appreciate it.

It's highly dependent on whether or not I'm happy with how my Stillen wheels look on my car... if they're hideous I may want to keep them, I don't know yet. As a warning though, at least 2 of these NEED to be refinished. The fronts look like ****. The rears are in good shape, but if you refinish the front, they may not match (I haven't looked at them in a while, I just remember that I wasn't going to do anything to the rears). I'll let you know though.

In all honesty... I only really need the rears. I have 3 decent chromes now... and if I could get 2 rear's I would have a complete set. So... let me know whenever you decide. Thx.

Wheels

Dude, I happen to like chrome wheels. I have them on 2 of my 3 Z's. One of the Z's has a polished wheel, however. Different looks for all 3. If you like chrome don't let the sheep herders steer you to their tastes. Some people like chocolate, some vanilla--it's hard to say either choice is tacky--it's a matter of preference--that's why it's called "TASTE".
The only reason weight is an issue is if you are into serious tracking or racing of the car. Otherwise, you can just lose 25lbs and accomplish the same thing that people do when they pay 2k more for a set of rims (yes, I said "rims"--now don't all of you have a heart attack at once) b/c they weigh 5lbs less per wheel.

Oh BTW, I'm not Mexican either. You guys really need to get beyond your petty little stereotypes. The last time I was in Mexico, I spent a good deal of time with a very wealthy and "cultured" family (they spoke 3 languages). The had a Mercedes AMG S500, a BMW M5, a Escalade, and a Porsche Ute. I would venture to say they had more business savy, social culture and humility than many of the WASPS here in the US driving 30k japanese sports cars. Their Escalade had chrome rims (there, I said "rims" again), though none of the other vehicles did. And, BTW, they lived in a 6k sq ft house.

losing 25 lbs from the car is MUCH different than 25lbs from the wheels. theres this thing called rotational mass and inertia. check em out they are some pretty serious laws in the world of physics. btw no one ever said it was mexican, i said thats how i was refered to.
