Door Lock Problem
Door Lock Problem
My 90 2+2 recently got picky (pun intended) about keys working in the exterior locks. I had to gently turn the key left and right until it would finally lock/unlock as desired until eventually it would not move. I sprayed some lithium lube onto the key and into the locks and they eventually worked smoothly.
My bigger problem is that the inside door lock mechanisms don't lock the doors. I can push the driver's interior lock lever and see the passenger lever move halfway; neither door locks. I can use the outer drivers lock to unlock both doors, but the exterior locks only lock each individual door. Makes arriving at work a pain... lock the outer driver door after I get out, then walk over to the passenger door to lock with the key. Meh.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?
