Anyone know what would cause the climate control fan blower motor to not shut off when I move the switch to off? The fan will respond through settings 1-4 (speeds up as it should), but will not shut off. I tried another control module (dash pod) and the same thing happens.

It is a 1990 300zx auto.

Pull / check the relay.

Well I found both relays (behind the fuse box and behind the glove box) and replaced them with some other old ones I had. Nothing changed - the darn thing still won't shut off. So unless those were bad also I am stumped....

Then it's the climate control switch.

Is that the dash pod switch to the right of the steering wheel? I already tried that if so. Let me caveat that with it was from a junk yard so I am not sure of how good it is. What are the chances it could be bad also?
