air coming out of the defrost vent only i toke out the the mode door motor. i took it apart ever thing is fine. i even put it in another position but it moves back to the defrost position. i got another control panel but its not the same the one. in my car it has a fan and a direction switch the one i got only has a fan switch only would that make a difference? but any way my air only comes out of the defrost and its not the motor.

You need the correct control module - they are not interchangeable, if memory serves.

And just because you took apart the motor and everything looked alright doesn't mean it is alright. Not to insult your intelligence, but I could probably show you lots of broken parts that you couldn't find the damage with.
