I got through everything except the Adjustable Rear Upper Arms. The upper arm bushings in the spindle were not coming out. Plus, we didn't have the proper tools to remove them. We'll revisit that when I get the proper tools.

Anyways, here are the before shots of the subframe bushings, front upper arms and t-rods.

I haven't been able to take her out yet for a shake down because the alignment needs to be set. In the short time a did drive it, I can tell that the front end is much more responsive. I can also feel less body roll in the corners. I'll have the alignment set after everything else is done, so I'll have to get back to guys then.

Very nice Im sure you saved some bucks doing it yourself. How hard was it? Are there writeups or is it pretty straightforward? I would like to do my tension rod and subframe spacer install myself when I get them.

If you go to SPL's site, there are install instructions. The t-rods and subframe spacers are basic. Careful removing the bolts from the subframe. The damn socket slipped off and I slammed my thumb on the underside of the bumper. That really hurt. I still can't bend my thumb all the way. It'll feel better once it quits hurting thhough. The upper arm is a bit more involved. Luckily, there are information sites like Rizz's link page. I was able to get all of the info I needed (torque specs primarily). One thing I found with the upper arms was that they wanted to bind up when we tightened them into the mounting brackets. Really odd. We took the arms apart and installed a couple tiny shims inside of it. It worked out perfect.

Total $
Upper Arms - $361
T-Rods - $154
Subframe spacers - $86

Well worth it, IMO. Can't wait to get the rear arms and the rest of the goodies in it. I know I'll be able to really feel a difference once the alignment is set. Since I put the Eibach Pro's on it, there' s been a lot of negative camber in the front.

Since this weekend in my b'day, I'll start taking it apart next weekend. Maybe my thumb will be back to normal by then.
