Best 10 bucks I ever spent

I got this air dam for 10 bucks at MSA this year. Drove all the way back home with it in my GFs lap. It'll do till I get the time to finish honing in my fiberglassing skills to make my own. Finally having the front end all closed up is nice . .

Haha. The paint job is gunna be free fifty free. Im going to do it myself. That is once all the body work/mods are done. For now solid primer gray is better than the camo red/primer it used to be.

Nice, I spent nine ninety nine on my rear fiberglass bumper to complete my kit. I think I'm going to go with the no sideskirt look... maybe trim the lower edge of the rear bumper too

Our cars are becoming more & more like twins! I've got the side skirts, but I don't think I'm gunna use them. Tho it does look a lil bit more complete w/ them.

Apollo, I love your car, but please take it off till it gets painted. I don't mean to be a dick, but it is a pet peev of mine. A car running around with a primered body kit, just annoys the hell out of me. Other than that, good deal on that front end. It looks really good, now go get it painted. Since you got such a great deal on it, spend the $ you saved and get it painted, a small piece like that should not cost that much. A good painter can get that thing matched to your paint with very little effort.

I do my own paint and body work. Its just a matter of finding time. With school, work and my music its hard to get in work on my Z.

But the WHOLE car is primered. So whats the bid deal. It's not like he's rolling around on the factory paint with a primered bumper

My 280zx has been primer gray for 3 years now. When I was doing body work on it, I had gray & tan primer all mixed in, cuz the shop ran out of gray. That looked hella ugly, so I bought my own can.

Anyway... Apollo's car doesn't look bad. It's all one color, unlike the Mexi ride Honduhs w/ multi-colored "mix & match" body kits I see driving around here. Not that there's anything wrong w/ that!

It looks great. That is a well spent 10 bucks!

Just do me a favor and don't paint it black... Black is a terrible color for a 280ZX

Im shooting for about 40-60 more hours of work to get her bodywork/mods finished, painted and DONE. Sooo mabye July-ish? But that airdam wont be on. It'll be custom and different. I can then pass it on for 10 bucks to another . . .
