I installed my brake upgrade last Saturday and am ready to take them for a test drive. It'd be a week for the brake-in, so I was thinking of taking the Z up the 39, from Glendora to Azusa, then head on out to Old Town Pasadena afterwards for a bite to eat. NE1 else who might in interested in joining me? Would be nice to get a nice group to go. I have heard there is a police presence from time to time up there, so whatever you decide to do while on the run is entirely at your discretion.

Threads like this is what make the police presence more prominent in the canyons. Posting something like this, with meet spots and times, especially for gmr / azusa, is asking for trouble.

Sounds like you're planning for gmr. Is it finally open?

its gonna take more then one post to get me to drive to north LA..it kinda dangerous driving through a canyon at night to..

I'm sorry.... if you're over by Lone Hill, I figured you knew about Glendora Mountain Road. It's drift city for some on saturday nights. My kid goes over there with some friends. I spent alot of time there in the 70's. It has been closed for some time due to the heavy rain storms last winter. Or was that the winter before?

LAZ32 guys might be doing a cruise on sunday before the meet.

We had a great cruise, back and forth thru the santa monica mountains, on sunday. No wrecks. Seafood lunch was great. Giving the guys on bikes a hard time through the canyons was fun.
