Can you install a double din reciever on a 300ZX

I have a 91 300 ZX and I was looking at a dvd player that is a double din. Is there a kit or method for installing a double din reciever on a 91 300zx?

cutting.... that would be some fabbing, not worth it, you can get a flip out that will fit in the stock spot that works jsut fine, plus its a little pointless unless you road trip alot with passengers so they can watch while you try to drive

my freind has one and its touch screen got it for like 200 dollars and is actually an awesome CD player as well, honestly the only one i have ever been comfortable to say well worth the money, cause it was a steal!!!

300 ZX dvd player/tv tuner

Anyone have a recommendation on a single din reciever that has a dvd player and tv tuner. Costco has a unit for $219 but it doesn't have tv tuner.

No seriously... I have an single DIN 7.5" slide out screen in my Grand Cherokee (I REFUSE to install it in my Conv. Z cuz it DOES SCREAM "Steal Me!!!"), with built in TV Tuner... and after installing the dual input antenna's I get 6 stations clearly (for the most part) around town. It's great for keeping up with the football scores on the way to/from the bar. But my ex lived in NYC (3.5 hours from me ) and it was nice 'watching' a movie on the way there or back...made the time FLY. Legal....HELL NO!!! But so is speeding. lol

If you're serious about installing one... get a single DIN slide out unit, (and a good security system). Make sure to connect it to the E-brake so it's "legal". (when driving, pulling the e-brake ONE CLICK, and it should work). I hold NO responsibility for your tickets. Drive carefully.

I usually have people with me, and it's more for THEIR benefit then mine... I drive 6-7 hours to the beach a few times a year, plus other trips that are 3 plus hours. I, too, hook up the PS2 or XBOX on trips, make sthe time fly.

Throwing keys in lake tomorrow.

To answer the question directly...yes, you can put a double din receiver in a 91 300zx. The problem is you WILL spend hundreds upon hundreds and possibly thousands of dollars to have this done by a professional car audio installer.

Did you know a 300ZX is a car? Did you know that you're supposed to drive a car, not watch movies in it?

I can't stand people who think they need DVD players in their cars... especially people who want to bastardize a 300ZX by taking it from "GT car" to "rolling home entertainment center."
