How accurate are the factory digital gauges?

I've got a 1984 300ZX non turbo with the digital speedo and lighted graph tach. I'm wondering how accurate are the temp gage and the oil pressure gage? The temp gage goes about halfway up and the oil pressure gage goes about two thirds up, so they seem to indicate things are fine. However my gas gage is dead, no lights there at all. Maybe a loose wire? It sure would be nice to be able to fix that, I'd hate to run out of gas!!! thanks anyone for your input!

when working, they are accurate.

oil pressure and fuel level senders are notorious for being bad. but the temp gauge on the 84-86 models is generally very reliable.

Well my oil press and temp gages indicate perfect running temp etc, even on very hot days we've been having here in WA -and the car is running very, very nicely with no probs at all...but the gas gage must somehow be disconnected, it's totally dark like no power at all to the gage. I sort of like the digital dash with the tach's graph display. So until I could get the gas gage figured out, if at all, then I just better fill up eveyy 150 miles or so!
