HKS turbo timer install question

HKS turbo timer install question? ... It says I need to attach the gray wire to the Emergency brake sensor wire ... which by manual pictures is by the e-brake under the center console ... but where does that wire go to ... the dash or the ECU ... I'm trying not to remove the center console unless I have to, because last time I cracked some brittle pieces, and I'm trying to avoid replacing parts that I don't need to ... just trying to find the easiest place to tap into that wire ... any insight would be most appreciated.

ok I just got the e-brake wire (the only wire coming off the e-brake) connected to the gray wire ... and I tested the turbo timer everything works but the only function i really bought it for ... I turned on the car waited a few and turned it off, the car just shuts off no countdown, I had it set to the tm1 function of 1 minute ... i heard that you can bypass the e-brake wire by looping back on it self ... where do I splice the wire into to ... I got the harness wires that go into the unit that come out to the gray wire connector which connects to the gray wire ... do I splice into the harness itself? or the wires going into the unit?

I suggest temp wiring things up before cutting & splicing. Make sure it all works, then hard wire it.

Check your wiring again...

There should be a +12v main power, ground, power in, and power out. When the power in loses it's signal because you turn the ignition off, the power out should receive power. If this is not happening, you need to check the wiring, and / or the settings on the turbo timer.

I fixed it! ... I read somewhere that you just have to ground the grey wire if you can't get the e-brake wire to work so now everything works great ... it still has the speed sensor wire so if someone breaks in while the car is counting down and starts to drive off it shuts down right away
