HELP PLEASE! car won't start
Aright now I’m very frustrated and I need some help! I own a 1989 300zx Turbo. I have done the 450 horsepower upgrade from Jim wolf technology. I have replaced my injectors with 4200ccs, my fuel rail with a 1984 fuel rail, the turbo with a hybrid to4e, replaced my MAF with a cobra MAF and plug adapter, and slapped on a HKS intercooler with HKS SSQ. The car has been toned from JWT with a 1989 ECU. The wiring harness is in decent shape and all of the vacuum lines have been connected if not plugged. I have replaced the water pump, starter, fuel pump regulator, spark plugs, belts, and the TPS. I have replaced my engine fan with a flexlaite electric fan, there is a custom oil line from the turbo to the oil pan, and at the moment as fare as fare as exhaust gos there is just an open 3inch downpipe. The engine turns over but will not start. The engine is on the compression stroke on TDC and the distruster rotor is pointing at the # 1 spark plug contact. I have moved the distributor back and forth but it didn’t help. I tried running a ECU diagnostics test but the pattern in the lights do not compare with what my chiltons manual says and that proubly becouse the ECU is a 89 model but not sure. The engine acts like it wants to start but wont. What do you suggest???

1. JWT is notorious for running extremely rich. Check to see if the plugs are fouled with fuel.
2. Use the accelerator to open the TB a bit while you're spinning it. That should insure you're getting a gulp of air.
Other than those, it might be eleven-teen hundred other things. Did you do all that stuff you mentioned, then try to crank the engine? If not, go back to the last thing you touched, and really inspect it.
