I'm having a hard time diagnosing the problem I am having with my 87 non turbo z. The car runs great but when I go into second gear it starts to missfire. A little then if I give it more gas it gets out of it. Same thing in third. And in all other gears runs smooth. I know for a fact all injectors are pulsing. So and I don't think it is timing because it doesn't always do it. Any other ideas? No airfilter btw. Thanks

 

Check, clean, replace 02 sensor. But that's just a shot in the dark. It does tell the car when and how to inject the fuel, could be 100 other things though, patients, some one will help you with more knowledge than me.
