Is there any difference between a turbo dizzy and an NA Dizzy?

I had what seemed to be a bad pickup in mine so I had to swap it. Only one I could get from the wreckers was a turbo dizzy. I now have a car that runs!

Only problem is now once the egine warms up it stumbles from about 2000rpm to about 2800 rpm.

Any ideas

 

No difference... did you reset the timing?

 

well.....umm yeah working on that right now!! seems that on another job, when I had the damper off I put the pulleys back on in the wrong postion. so I have to take off the pulley, set the engine to TDC and put the pulleys back on then set the timing. I really hope this fixes the stumble!

Ok, have fixed up the pulleys now and it is all good in timing. Spot on now!

Still stumbles once it heats up. Its always at the same rev range. I am starting to get really lost here

 

Air Regulator, MAF, or CHTS... Check the wiring / connection on those sensors.
