car wont start

i got a question, i found a replacement engine on ebay for 595 for a vg30e is that a such a good deal i shouldn't pass it up, or does it sound to good to be true? also can anyone provide me with a good spot 2 look for cheap complete engines?

well, they are a company for 1, and for 2, they give a 6 month warranty
and 3 its liek complete

then its JDM motor stuff im guessing? search on the internet you might beable to find a place that imports and sells JDM motors not to far from you.... but otherwise w/e

hey a little up date on this i have my engine completely put back except for a few things. The main thing i need help on it i got all the vaccum hoses on except for these 4 that are all together right by the distrubitor. and there isnt' a hose on my fuel pressure regulator, or a hose on the attachment next to the spot where you fill the coolant. can anyone help me PLEASE!!? i have pictures but i dont know how to put them on here. thanks for anyhelp

hey i have another little problem here i ran my ecu and i want to know what your guys input on these error codes are thanks for the help if you can help
first one is code 11-crank agnle sensor/circuit
code 23-idle swith circuit
and a code 31-load signal circuit or ECU

can anyone help me here?

also i hear a like air sound coming from beneath my intake manifold, when it is in the on state--not start-- is that normal?

jeez I don't believe this. If you have taken the heads off you must have already discovered that this is an over head cam vehicle, there for you must disturb the timing BELT and the valve timing. GET A SERVICE MANUAL!!!!! You can find a factory service manual on E Bay for about 30 bucks or less. The starter is on the right hand side of the engine just below the oil filter. If the thing don't start, check the basics, fuel and spark. If you got no fuel it's probably the fuel pump. If you got no spark check the distributer namely the crank position sensor. and please get that manual.

Did you buy the car not running??? If so, how do you know that the head gasket is blown??? Did you see water in the oil, oil in the water, did you do a compression test??? If you Didn't do these test you don't know if the gasket blown!!! If the gasket is blown... the car SHOULD run... badly most likely... but run. And get a book on the car This will be your best friend ... Don't take the word of someone that might be wrong... If the head gasket was in good shape... you just did all this for nothing!!!
