86zx turbo issue
I have a little doubt.... I recently put a boost controller on my car...I buil it myself with some hardware parts from the corner store...but im not sure if i put a good spring inside the MBC...or not because im monitoring the gauge and the boost doesnt seem to be steady, it goes up to 5 pres and then is like it goes down to 20 vaccum slowly if im not accelerating..., but if i keep stepping more on the gas it goes higher than 5 to like up to 9....now i dont know if it supposed to be steady... or if you gotta be constantly keeping your foot on the gas to be steady...lets say sometimes when im in second gear at 3K doing between 30 or 35 and step on the gas to give it boost... if i do it slowly (increasing the gas...) i could hear the turbo spooling up and everything is fine... the gauge marks about 5 punds.... depends on how much i step on the gas... now if i do it to rough like just overreving and shifting as fast as possible.... a lot of weird shi happens at the same time and it gets me confused...
the car feels like it can overev no more like it gave its all.... bit i aint feel boost even dough my gauge says 9 pounds, **** i should be flying.... I dont have a blow off... i dont have intercooler i want anybody to gimme their opinion on this one... see whatup im guessing it could probably be the mbc that i build... probably the spring and ball aint doing the job.... or probably i need to fix the Emergency relief valve...like put a second spring.... appreciate it ...
