1985 300zx electrical problems...help!

1985 300zx electrical problems...help!

I have a 300zx 1985 ..when i start it , the panels and instrument gages fail to light up, until i give it a couple good revs...then they go on ..anyone know what the hell is going on? please help..i would greatly appreciate it.
