supercharged Z31

ok, i found a video on youtube of a supercharged Z31 but i can't find anything on it to save my life (given i'm not very handy with a computer). anybody know anything or heard of anyone supercharging their Z31?

P.S. it's a centrifugal. possibly a vortech or procharger.

it's not all that common of a job because a turbo is a lot more effective, so there won't be a whole lot of support that you can find for it.

yeah i made it up. you can't argue that the turbo is not vastly superior.

its not superior. though i prefer it. its more effecient in HP gain over HP stolen. but it doesnt make the poewr as instantly or as low int he RPM range as a super charger. every thing has an up and a down. honestly if your track racing on small tracks and auto X go S/C otherwise turbo will probably be better for all other applications.

super charger and turbo is a very complicated setup to get done right. also, not worth it in the end result unless you do some very fancy engineering using like electronic clutch on the S/C pulley to disengage once the turbo spools.

cobras (mustang or factory five i guess) have ford V-8's, that occasionally get turbo and sc set ups.

cobra is gerneal we talking shelby/AC cobra mustang cobra where the newest get supercharged very very few people to a supercharger and turbo charger for good reason. one or the other. when i said come again its because it seemed you were referring to a mustang cobra a supercharged car so thats my bassis as a supercharged and turbo car.... which it isnt. theres been like one ever production car with that as far as i can think of. anyways.... stick with the turbo save LOTS OF TIME AND MONEY and make more power.

A while back I saw a website where someone documented their build of a white Z31 with a supercharger and turbo. It was done well. I think the license plate was BEATMYZ

I found the page. Its really old... the owner is certainly not a web designer

i don't like roots type superchargers, centrifugals are sooo much better. and i want to keep the stock engine in her.

centrifugal S/C lag like turbo's dude... they are a waste. not AS bad of lag but they dont boost as quikly as roots but are a bit more efficient and create less heat i believe.
