Premium or regular

Wanted to know if a 1986 300zx turbo can run on regular unleaded fuel?

they do fine on it unless you goose the boost altho I've got mine at 10psi and she runs like a top.

I've owned 15 different 85-89 turbo cars, some of them ran alright on regular some didn't and would ping. All of them ran better on premium gas. I run premium in my Shiro and 89 turbo
