So, I had clutch recently done at a shop and they left off the clip/bracket that holds the pinion gear in the side of the transmission, which I did not realize until I was 250mi back in my home town, with transmission fluid slightly leaking from the assembly. So I am looking to get this one piece replaced and am wondering if it is compatible with the automatic transmission pinion gear bracket. There is only one junkyard that currently has a z31 and its an 85 N/A auto. I have an 86 2+2 N/A manual. And if anyone is willing, I want to confirm what the bracket should look like, so if anyone is up for it, could ya send me a picture of it. I'm pretty sure I've seen it before but I want to be sure I get the right one. I checked both the FSM and my haynes manual and cant find a diagram on it.

Thanks in advance,

-Mark

I also failed to mention that the junkyard car is an analog dash and mine is a digital.
