Nistune, or stand alone. you are ****ing retarded if you even consider a "chip" as a legit way to tune your car.

Searching for something like "chip" will render you lots-o-info as this has been discussed before.

You need Nistune if you are going to run a programmed chip in a stock Z31 ecu.

EDIT... lulz, Hoov beat me to it.

what about the one from Jim Wolf Technology? That one has the rpm limiter raised, top speed limiter removed, and other features for fuel mappin and turbocharger needs. what makes Nistune so bneficial than Jim wolf? I thout they were close to same or does Jim wolf fall into the **** category with Jet Chips.

JWT "chips" are not $50.00.

JWT also doesn't sell "chips". They sell complete ECUs. You send them your whole ECU and they socket it and put in their own "chip". And it costs more in the realm of $500.00

Nistune is more beneficial because you can actually do your own programming.

JWT requires you to send back the chips if you do any other mods or need to re-tune your ECU.

did i say 50 bucks? the only thing with nistune is i dont have the equipment or the knowledge to self tune on my own. Especially living in new mexico and looking for a shop just to work on my 88T or get advice, i always get the response of "Z what?" or "Nissan makes that?" or my fav "Wow! Thats nice! Cant help you" Is there a write up on tuning with nistune?
