Help me ID this hose
1st time posting, and really new to Z's in general, (bought my 1st Z today)
anyway its an 86, and I don't know what to call formed rubber hose that come off elbow of the air intake (see picture) I tried to recreate them with hoses I bought at a car parts store, but they flex too much and compress when installed. I would like an OEM part to replace, but I am not sure how to describe it.
Add on question: upon inspection of my old cracked hose, I saw what looked like a wire brush/filter inside of the hose. It looked out of place and decide to inspect further. Any idea if this is supposed to be in the hose?
thanks for your help!

Welcome to ZDriver!
Make sure you've downloaded the FSM in the Welcome PM you received.
Also check out the parts diagrams on nissan4u.com
Lastly, the wire brush inside the hose is a flame arrestor.

if you would really like answers that would help you and avoid flames give the following info when you post: year of car, n/a or turbo engine, stick or slushbox, digital or analog dash. Most of us can tell by the year what model you have ie 85T is a turbo z31. Z cars come in many flavors and they are all different. example 84,85,86 Z31's pretty comparable. there were changes in 87,88,89. in addition 300ZX can refer to two completly different cars the Z31 and the Z32. No mindreaders here the more info you can post the more likely you get a cogent useful answer. The cars with L engine (straight six) changed almost yearly from their introduction. A 240Z and and a 280Z have similarities but they can also have wide variance.
looked at my 86 TURBO and don't see anything that vaguely resembles what is in your pic. since you didn't give any info on your car hard to make a guess. where did it start and where did it end.
