flywheel troubles

I am having major trouble trying to source out a new flywheel for my 88 non-turbo z31. I found an article that said flywheels for the 84-86 turbo are the same for the NA models. which can't be the case because the turbos and non turbos have different clutch sizes.

i also saw somewhere that you can put a turbo flywheel and clutch set on a non turbo z31. but im afraid the flywheel is larger and wont line up with the starter or may be too big for the bell housing.

they say all the flywheels are the same size but i looked at one at autozone and the turbo one appears to be larger. i cant find a non turbo flywheel anywhere. i have no idea what to do, ive never had so much trouble. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Flywheels and clutchs

Heres a link to what you are asking about, seems you can use a turbo flywheel, just order a turbo clutch also.

Only 87-89 turbo flywheels are 250mm. all others, 84-89 NA and 84-86 Turbo's are 240mm. They are all interchangable with a matching clutch.

Please note that this is the clutch disc surface only. The overall diameter of the flywheels for all VG30 Z31s is the same.

This is completely the case. All NAs and the 84 to 86 turbos use the same flywheel. Look up the part numbers yourself if you don't believe it.
