clutch pedal adjustment

can some one please direct me to pictures of how the switches and rods should be adjusted? which one do i adjust to fix free play? also the pad that presses the switch in when you press the clutch pedal all the way has a hole where the switch hits it. so that switch is not getting pressed when i push the clutch in. is this bad? please some one show me pics. its for an 87 non turbo 300zx. pics please!

that little hole is supposed to have a plastic plug in it. I think dealer but I put a bolt in mine. also saw some plastic plugs at home depot that would probably work. if you can't intuit how to adjust free play or make the switch work I would suggest you find a good z mechanic because you don't have sufficient mechanical ability to own that car when it starts giving you problems (which it will). as nismo said download the manual. next step READ IT. It is written assuming the person reading has basic mechanial skills. you will find directions like "take all the bolts out" to remove something.

yeah i have the manual already and ive seen how to adjust them but one time i saw a post from zbum that said he leaves only a sliver of the switch so i wasnt sure if that meant the threads or the switch itself? so thats why i was asking for pics i want to see what its supposed to look like in real life and, i was asking if the pad not hitting the switch was bad. i filled the hole with quicksteel, the pad is still in there it just had a hole the exact size and in the exact same place the switch hits.

so thanks for absolutely nothing rogerz cause all you did was waste our time by trying to subtly call me an idiot. why read and answer questions if your just gonna act like your a mechanical genius and its below you to give any advice? i can be tough behind a keyboard all day but seriously, help someone or DONT.
