Broke my tie rod

so i broke my inner tie rod end and i was wondering if i should just go to the junk yard and get another stock one or if i should try and order some aftermarket ones. I looked online but i couldn't really find customer reviews. New to the Z scene and some guidance would be sick.

This is one piece I would not scrimp on. To be honest, I've always had better luck with OEM Nissan tie rod ends than aftermarket ones. Yes, Nissan will cost more.

How did that happen ? big hole or hit a curbing? or someone overtightened the lock nut

The rack is easy to bend/bow in racknpinoins behind the pivot point. hope you didn't

that inner side is tougher to do on the ground .
there must be many more ZX 's out west ours were largely extinct in salvage yards 20 yrs ago .

I broke the tie rod by barely nicking an edge of a curb but the tie snapped so effortlessly i don't think i did anymore damage at least that's what I'm hoping for.
I also got my self an OEM inner tie for about 40 bucks from 425 motorsports. i definitely under estimated how long it would take to finish and ruined my outer tie trying to be quick haha so now there's that. appreciate the feedback ill post up when i can get around to finishing everything.
